Magical Anarchy - Preorders!

and I'm back! With pumpkin spice coffee because I am indeed that Autumn person.

Day1 is off to a start, and now that everyone is off work: you can get caught up with where we stand! This update contains:

First! The news! We have unlocked the first stretch goal!

This means that when Jacob, Tess, and I are finished recording the audio book there will be an extra chapter...that functionally is one of those blooper reel chapters and will...primarily consist of me swearing at the author as I attempt to read the lines...that I wrote. While the two voice actors give me ALL of the sass for doing so.

Our next stretch goal, is a Paperback Print Run! Print runs / offset printing produces higher quality books, so, if we make it there: The editorial crew who are paper nerds will get to shop for the right page edge, paper weight, font indentation, etc etc. It's a thing for the booky people because the first one was for the audio people!

Next: If you haven't backed yet! You totally should early on. There are exclusive things for people who back in the first 48 hours! A full 7th Age artpack of all the artwork I've commissioned over the years...plus, if you get one step closer to unlocking The Red Opera: Forsaken Pacts for free! (Seriously guys, it's a $29.99 pdf we are releasing next year).

The Poll!

Taysia is one of ST Forge's developmental editors (The Dark Carnival, Magical Anarchy), and also our internal typesetter for the Magical Anarchy series. She's currently working on the draft materials for book layout!

But Rick...get to the poll...

Dyslexic Font styles! In this grand year of 2026, it is possible to make a second version (that is likely Print on Demand unless there IS A LARGE demand) of Magical Anarchy. This second version is thicker, more expensive (it's a MUCH bigger book), but contains a unique font for Dyslexic readers.

Here's a sample!

In comparison, here is a standard layout and font!

(DISCLAIMER THESE ARE WORK IN PROGRESS LAYOUTS!! NOT FINAL)

What do you think? Would you as a reader be interested if Storytellers Forge started making a variant edition of paperbacks or would the audio books be what you are seeking?

and remember, early backer rewards end soon! Let's unlock some stretch goals!

We begin! The launch hath happened! The backing...is a thing! The celebration is to be had!

We are officially making an audio book! (More importantly: All of you early supporters get early access and extra goodies for this boy).

Now, let's take a look at what this all means!

Welcome to Printopia. Your hub for all things books! I'm one of the banner leaders for the Fantasy genre.

Obviously, you can pick up Magical Anarchy here and the glorious urban fantasy world we are bringing to life. We've got some fun stretch goals that make everything cooler.

Usually though, books are better in chunks. Think of this crowdfunding campaign as a little mini-book store where you don't have to leave your chair. Like...checking out All that Jazz, which is a romance and fantasy novel that I just personally backed.

Or... the Wolves of Tesseract who has joined me at conventions trying to yeet books at people.

Of course, all over my page is the Devils Gambit, by the C.D. Corrigan, whom if you get both our books, you'll get a free Red Opera Forsaken Pacts book!

If you buy any three books, you will unlock an exclusive Zine with content from all the fantasy creators.

Ultimately, I want to say thank you everyone for your support so far, and I can't wait to crack into those who backed the "Be Immortal" tier and start working up secret societies with you that will make it into Magical Anarchy.

So please, go forth! Spread the word! Convince people to back this! Let's get some stretch goals unlocked!!

(Just in case the embedding version didn't work...and this one is a test!)

Click Here! (that guy goes to youtube)!

Jacob kinda says it all in this update, but he's a Voice Actor. I write things.

Like how to end the world with myth and magic...in an epic spawning Urban Fantasy tale!

I can't wait to bring this project to life with everyone. Sept 10th is coming up soon! Please share the project around!

-Rick.
